Zarko Radic, known as "Zara," is a contemporary artist celebrated for his evocative explorations of the human condition. Radic's work invites viewers into a realm where dreams and reality intertwine. The elements
From 1950 to 1956, Radic studied freelance painting at the Art Academy in Novi Sad and then at the University of Arts Belgrade. From 1964 to 1979 he was responsible for theatrical painting at the Staatstheater Stuttgart - in collaboration with Achim Freyer, Jürgen Rose, John Cranko, Jiří Kylián and the acting director Claus Peymann.
First steps
From 1979 to 2000 Zarko Radic worked as a theater painter at the Bochum Schauspielhaus. In the meantime, he had guest engagements at the Opéra National de Lyon and the Théâtre de la Monnaie in Brussels and in 1995 he was awarded the art scholarship of the Aterana Foundation, Principality of Liechtenstein. Since 2000 Zarko Radic works exclusively as a freelance artist in Bochum. He is known by his pseudonym ZARA.

These include the Düsseldorf Higher Regional Court, the Bochum district court, the Bochum Town Hall, the Bochum Museum - Art Collection, the House of Art Brno / Czech Republic, the Museum Banegården Art & Culture in Aabenraa Denmark and the Principality of Liechtenstein.
