Elena Rostova is an internationally acclaimed painter known for her monumental neo-expressionist canvases that confront political trauma and collective memory. Her works are held in permanent collections across Europe and the US.

Studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts in Kyiv (1991–1996). Winner of the European Contemporary Art Prize (2014). Major solo exhibitions at Tate Modern, London, and Centre Pompidou, Paris.
