A gathering is not a meeting — it is a decision. Gathering draws from the Igbo tradition of communal cloth-making, in which the act of weaving together is itself a social contract. Okafor gathered twelve women across three generations in her grandmother\’s compound in Enugu. What they made over four days became this installation.
